Workflow
The Singularity app handles orientation, focus, catalog selection, live stacking, Plan My Night, multi-night work, CovalENS framing, and file management. SkyColor Studio provides first-party image enhancement.
Tradeoffs
The current Vespera line is substantially heavier and more expensive than compact Seestar and DWARFLAB options. It does not provide a separate wide-angle Milky Way camera, equatorial workflow, or physical eyepiece.
What makes it distinct
Vaonis can define a field larger than the native sensor, acquire the required panels, and build the expanded view as part of the observing workflow.
Plan My Night and multi-night slots treat long integrations as continuing projects rather than isolated sessions.
Individual 16-bit FITS frames and 16-bit pre-stacked TIFF output support processing beyond the first-party presentation tools.
