The northern Milky Way from the backyard
This 2.5-hour panorama is the backyard counterpart to the wide Milky Way view planned for Cherry Springs. It follows the star clouds and dark lanes from Cepheus through Cygnus into Vulpecula.
Deeper results branch from both sides of the panorama. Two fields continue to a closer scale: North America and Pelican within the 30-hour mosaic, and Butterfly and Crescent within the broader Sadr field. Each selected frame lies inside its parent’s field of view.
